Why stress marks matter

One word. Two meanings. It's all in the stress.

Russian doesn't write where the stress falls — and moving it changes the vowels, the sound, and sometimes the whole meaning. Most learners guess for years.

LangLeap marks the stress on every word in the course, from day one, so you learn each word the way it's actually said.

Hands-free audio lessons

Learn Russian with your screen off.

Walk, drive, cook. A narrator asks you for something in English, you hear a tone, and you say the Russian out loud into the pause. Then a native-speed voice gives you the answer.

  • Adjustable pause length and speaking speed

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need to know the Cyrillic alphabet first?

No. The course starts with the alphabet, a few letters at a time — you just did the first five. A placement quiz lets you skip ahead if you already know some Russian.

Is it really free?

Yes. The Foundations section, the first audio lessons, and reading with 50 starter translations plus 5 per day are free, with no credit card. Premium unlocks the full course for $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year.

How long does a lesson take?

Course lessons take a few minutes each, so they fit in a coffee break. Audio lessons run about 12–17 minutes — about one commute.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Lessons and audio you download work with no connection, and your progress syncs the next time you're online.

Is there an Android version?

LangLeap is launching on iPhone first. Android is on the way — leave your email below and we'll tell you when it's ready.

What other languages are coming?

We're launching with one language done deeply. More are in the works.
